A lot of southeastern Massachusetts yards end in a wall of scrub oak, bittersweet and greenbrier that has been advancing on the lawn for a decade. Clearing it back is not tree work exactly, but it is the same trucks and the same crew, and it changes what the property is worth to you.
On a building lot or a back parcel, clearing means selective — take out the junk growth and the leaners, keep the healthy trees worth keeping. On a yard edge it usually means pushing the line back, cutting the vines out of the trees they are strangling, and hauling the whole mess off.
Seasonal cleanups come with it. Spring, after the winter drops everything it is going to drop, and fall, when the leaves and the storm debris are down. Same idea: the property is usable again when we leave.

Do you take the wood and the brush with you?
Yes, hauling it out is part of the job unless you tell us you want the wood left for firewood. Cleanup is the thing our customers bring up most, and the standard is that when we pull out you should not be able to tell where we were working except that the tree is gone.
